In order to get your DSL working on your computer(s), you will need to input the
following information, by following the steps described below, and using the
settings that were provided to you such as the IP address, gateway and subnet mask.
- Click on the Start button.
- Click on Control Panel.
- Double Click on the Network and Internet Connections icon.
- Click Network Connections.
- Right Click on Local Area Connection and select Properties.
- Highlight Internet Protocol (TCP/IP), and press the button labeled Properties.
- Select the radio button labeled Use the following IP address, and fill in the fields labeled IP address, Subnet Mask, and Default Gateway.
- Select the radio button labeled Use the following DNS server addresses and enter the Preferred (66.59.235.1) and Alternate (64.30.215.129) DNS servers.
- Click Ok / Close
- Click Ok / Close
- You do not need to restart your computer in order for your machine to recognize the new settings.
- You will see an hourglass momentarily; once it disappears you will be ready to connect to linkLINE using your preferred internet browser.
Once your computer reboots then you should be able to access the internet
simply by opening your internet browser. If it does not appear to be working,
please try our troubleshooting guide.
