Setting up DSL for Windows 95/98
In order to get your DSL working on your computer(s), you will need to input the
following information, by following the steps described below, and using the
settings that were provided to you such as the IP address, gateway and subnet mask.
- Go into your control panel and click on the network icon.
- Look for the TCP/IP that is bound to your NIC, it will look similar to
this... 'TCP/IP=>brand X ethernet 10/100', or it may appear alone, as 'TCP/IP'.
- Highlight it and click on the properties button.
- The first field you will see is IP ADDRESS, click on "specify an IP
address and enter the IP address provided.
- Below that you will see subnet mask, enter your information as provided.
- Click on the tab that says gateway, input your gateway information and
then click the "add" button.
- click on the DNS configuration tab and select enable DNS.
- The host name is whatever the name of your system is, if you do not know
enter "default".
- In the domain field enter "linkline.com"
- In the DNS search server order enter the DNS IP addresses clicking on
"add" after each one is entered...
- Click "Ok"
- Click "OK"
- System will prompt you to restart system. It may also ask for your
Windows CD ROM, if so, simply insert the CD into the CD ROM drive.
Once your computer reboots then you should be able to access the internet
simply by opening your internet browser. If it does not appear to be working,

Setting up DSL for Windows NT 4.0
In order to get your DSL working on your computer(s), you will need to input the
following information, by following the steps described below, and using the
settings that were provided to you such as the IP address, gateway and subnet
mask.
- Click Start, Settings, then Control Panel.
- Double Click Network.
- Click on the Protocols tab and select the TCP/IP Protocol.
- Click on the Properties button.
- Click the IP Address tab.
- Select Specify an IP Address.
- Enter the IP address provided.
- Enter in your assigned Subnet Mask.
- Enter in your assigned Gateway.
- Click on the DNS tab.
- Enter your username for Host Name.
- Enter the Domain linkline.com.
- Click on the Add button under DNS Server Search Order.
- Enter in
66.59.235.1
- Click OK.
- Once again, click on the Add button under DNS Server Search Order.
- Enter in
64.30.215.129
- Click OK.
- Click OK to the Microsoft TCP/IP Properties window.
- Click OK to the Network window.
- Your system will probably ask to be restarted. Click Yes.
Once your computer reboots then you should be able to access the internet
simply by opening your internet browser. If it does not appear to be working,

Setting up DSL for Windows 2000 Professional
In order to get your DSL working on your computer(s), you will need to input the
following information, by following the steps described below, and using the
settings that were provided to you such as the IP address, gateway and subnet
mask.
- Go into your control panel and click on the 'Network and Dial-Up Connections' icon.
- Right Click on the Local Area Network Icon.
- Left Click on properties.
- Find the 'Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)'.
- Highlight it and click on the properties button.
- The first field you will see is IP ADDRESS, click on "Use the following
IP address" and enter the IP address provided.
- Below that you will see subnet mask, enter your information as provided.
- Input your gateway in the next field.
- In the DNS search server order enter the DNS IP addresses.
- Click "Ok"
- Click "OK"
- Open up you Internet Browser, such as Internet Explorer). Usually you
will not have to reboot in Windows 2000 Pro, however if you are unable to
browse, then try re-booting first.
Once your computer reboots then you should be able to access the internet
simply by opening your internet browser. If it does not appear to be working,

Setting up DSL for Windows ME
