Setting Up DSL for MAC
Setting up DSL for IMAC/Macintosh (Most Versions)

In order to get your DSL working on your computer(s), you will need to input the following information, by following the steps described below, and using the settings that were provided to you such as the IP address, gateway and subnet mask.

  1. Click to open your apple menu.
  2. Find Control Panel, then click on 'TCP/IP'.
  3. In the 'Connect Via' drop down box, select 'Ethernet Built-in'.
  4. In the 'Configure' drop down box, select 'Manually'.
  5. Enter the IP address assigned to you in the field below.
  6. Enter the subnet mask, usually (255.255.255.0).
  7. Enter the Default Gateway as the router address.
  8. In the 'Name Server Addr.' field, enter the DNS Settings.
  9. Type in 'linkline.com' for the 'Search Domain'.
  10. Close the window, and if prompted to save changes, then select 'Yes'.
  11. Open your internet browser such as Netscape, or Microsoft Explorer. You should be able to browse the internet. If not then try re-booting the computer.
Once your computer reboots then you should be able to access the internet simply by opening your internet browser. If it does not appear to be working, please try our troubleshooting guide first.

If that doesn't work, then you may need to contact our Support Department.
