Creating WebMail Filters
linkLINE's WebMail filtering system allows you to
create custom rules in order to route or reject
incoming email based on subject, body, sender, and
other email header information. To access your mail
filters:
- Login to your WebMail account at
http://webmail.linkline.com/ using your email
address and password. Once logged in, click on the
Preferences link in the upper right corner of
the page (1):

- The next screen will show preferences for your
WebMail account settings. Click on the "Edit Mail
Filters" (2) link
to proceed:

- Below is a screenshot of the Mail Filters Page.
Please refer to the red labels (3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10)
when using the instructions below:

Rule Examples:
NOTE: If you have more
than one mail rule you must have "and continue
filtering" (8b)
checked for each rule. This will ensure that
incoming mail is checked against each rule. If this
is not checked, mail filtering will stop after it
has processed the first rule where this isn't
checked. To block a specific email
address (ie, block all email from spam@spammer.com):
- Enter in a Rule Name (3).
This can be named whatever you want, and is used
only for your reference.
- Select the Header Radio button (4).
- Enter in "From" (without the quotes) into
box 5a.
- Select "contains" from drop-down list
5b.
- Enter in the email address you wish to block
into box 5c.
- Select the Save In Radio button (7).
- Select "TRASH" from drop-down list
7a.
- Click the Submit button (10).
- The page will then refresh, with your new
Rule in the list.
- Click the Save All Changes button (11)
to confirm and commit your rule.

all your email (ie

another address AND keep a copy
in this mailbox, click the checkbox next
to "and continue filtering" (8b).
- Click the Submit button (10).
